And no, no Air Gear today. I decided to write a mid season short review of the anime winter season.

I have seen 7 episodes so far, and I have to say that it’s more comical that I expected.

I had seen a few manga pictures before but not read it and I thought that it seemed more serious.
But anyway, I am annoyed by all the nakedness! Can’t that child get some clothes? Sometime?

I can clearly see that it is a shounen, a comedy shounen. But I suspect that like most comedy/gag manga it will be a more of less serious arc later on when it’s better established.

Anyway, I find it kinda good, I don’t know if I would continue watching it if it is to be a long runner but for now I’ll follow it.

Fractale

A 11 episode original anime. 6 of them so far.

I liked the first few episodes but not so much anymore.  The boy annoys me, Phryne annoys me now as well, her name as well.

But I really like the opening song.  But the story, well, to be honest. I don’t really get it. There is a system, fractale,  the is designed so that humans don’t need to worry about anything but they get brainwashed in the proses. And there is an organist ion that is against that and wants to destroy it. By killing nuns? I’m not that sure about the last part but that’s what I snapped up.

And what? Why? Gah! And that bath scene in the latest episode? Ugh. (Is she the innocent fan service girl?) Same as that underwear scene in episode 5. . .

Anyway, I will finish this. To see if I grow back to liking it.

Gosick (Is the title engrish for Gothic?)

A mystery historical story. Currently watched 6 episodes.

The characters might not be the most likable, but I don’t dislike them.The design are kinda. . . But the setting is nice.  Victorique is the most questionable character. I would like her but she annoys be the way she treats him. (who’s name slipped my mind).

At the point that I’m at right now it explores her, or to be more exact, her mothers background.

Hourou Musuko/Wandering son

I’m following the manga, as much as you can with the unregual outings(?).

And as everyone else that had read the manga I noticed (duh) that the anime starts when they enters middle school instead of when Nitori transfers in fourth(?) grade.  Why? I don’t know. To get to the juicy parts faster? If you ask me, I liked the beginning better.  And I deffidenty prefer the manga over anime. I dislike plenty of voices, especially Nitoris. I wonder if the ones who only watched the anime get confused.

Since I read it I already knows about what happed earlier, the character development. And how they first got into cross dressing and so on.

Mahou shoujo madoka magica

At first I thought, oh Magical girl, seems pretty decent I’ll watch that.  And then, Oh, serious magical girl, Nice!

And then. OH MY GOD! IS THAT EATING WHAT I THINK IT’S EATING?

So yes. Not as happy as it seems on the promoting pictures. But I like it. Plot twist and lot’s of angst. This sure is a keeper.

By the way, no magical madoka after 8 friking episodes!

Since chapter 90 of Nononono came out a week ago or so I’ve been looking everyday at the scanlation website. It was just so! EH!!!

I actually considered att He would die and Nono would be very sad (wrong choice of words) because she had been so angry with him.  But then he was shown in the hospital, but I bet that she will be sad anyway. And forgive him.

I only quick read it since I’m in school  but it still got to me. . . 

And that blood on the wall, huh.

I don’t know why but I like characters that get hurt. That sounded wrong… But I dislike death, sometimes it’s good for the story but I feel so sad over it. Like Gurren Lagann and Fruits basket. Oh, fruits basket…

Anyway, back to Nononono.  It ended in another cliffhanger, I don’t think that she will get exposed, that would be no fun. And will Kishi kill him, now that he told them? But it might be hard to do that when he’s locked in for (his) attempted murder.

I was surprised when Kishitani started to become more like that bad guy some time ago, because that’s not his style. But was reviled when he later regretted even thinking about it. 

Anyway I want the next chapter sooon.

Kishitani is my favorite character so I’m glad he didn’t die. I actually suspected that he would come and save her, and he sure did. For a moment I was worried that Amatsu would be the one after they went out and looked for her.

But since he (was) the nice guy with not so much talent I thought that he was nice and deserved good, I liked that he finally won a completion a while ago.  :)

Anyway, that was lot’s of blabber but I just felt like it.

With one week to go I manage to watch a new series! It was only 13 episodes and their is a second season, but hey! It’s still a series. And I’ve begun watching season two.

The story takes place in the sengoku era in japan and revolves around the different groups, which runs different areas and want to expand and rule the whole country.

Wow, I really can make something awesome sound so bad.

Really, it’s actually pretty darn cool.  I can’t explain it’s coolness. And the horses! The damn horses!!!! They don’t jump high, they can fly! They must have been some sort of unicorns or something…

This greeted me at the first episode(or second, don’t remember).

I just have to say that they are very manly in this series.

I. just. can. seem. to. be able to. know. what. to write… *sigh*

Okey then, just watch this if your in for some action/comedy/epicness It was so cool that I giggled the while first episode.

Anyway, those two are the main lead charters, the blue one is the leader of the Date army, Date Masamune and the red one is Sanada Yukimura a general in the Takeda army.

New year. Yes, it’s a new year. Again.

And another anime season has ended. It’s acully only three series that I’m following that is still ongoing.  Star driver, Index II and Bakuman, that I’ve not seen all episodes but planning to do. Soon.

The one that I liked the most was Shiki.

When I saw the first episode I was bothered by the character design but now I’ve grown used to it and thinks that it divers from other series on a good way.

When I first read about it I thought it would be kinda bloody. Which it wasn’t, then it got close to the end and there was blood everywhere!! Don’t think it counts as a spoiler.

Anyway, I was on the humans side. Sure, thing’s got out of control and innocent people got hurt. But hey, would you be able to stay calm if you know that your village was invaded by vampires that was killing everyone you knew so that they could take over the villige?

Did not think so.

I really disliked the guy with blue hair like ears and the little girl. So annoying! Why was the monk on her side anyway? Just because she has a body of a child it’s okey to kill people and be forgiven?

Now I only have one week left of the winter holidays and I told myself that I would watch one new series before school started again but now I’m running out of time. But besides from Bakuman I caught up with the running series, that I want to watch.  Dropped Heroman and Giant killing for now.

I’m thinking of watching Tales of the abyss or Xam.d Lost memories. Or maybe something completely else.

Last month I watch “Library war” I loved it and a cuople of days later I wrote this, and then I forgot about it and did not finish it. But here it is. My attempt to promote this series!

Since I have don’t really know how to write about the background story I copied it from wiki.

“The premise of Library war involves the Japanese government passing the Media Betterment Act (MBA) as law in 1989 which allows the censorship of any media deemed to be potentially harmful to Japanese society by deploying agents in the Media Betterment Committee (MBC) with the mandate to go after individuals and organizations that are trying to exercise the act of conducting freedom of expression activities in the media.

However, local governments opposed to the Media Betterment Act establishes armed anti-MBA defense force units to protect libraries from being raided by MBC agents under the Freedom of the Libraries Law. The conflict between MBC agents and library soldiers has continued to 2019, when the story begins. In accordance with the Japanese era calendar scheme, 1989 in Toshokan Sensō is rendered the first year of the fictional Seika (正化^?) era, rendering 2019 as Seika 31″

So, now into the main story.

After Iku Kasahara was helped by a member of Library corps in high school she decides to  join the defens-force.  Witch she becomes the first woman to do.  So the story revolves around Iku, her friend/roommate and a couple of the members of the defencetaskforce.

It’s genes action, comedy and romance, and it sure was. And the three of them is rare. The romance, was cute. I liked all of the implied parings. But I usually do that.

At first I was annoyed by then  thick lines they had but after a episode of two I got used to it.

Uwa, I’d planned to write moe today, when I found it (whops) but I can’t remember anything..

But here is the ending theme,  I love it.

Today it’s the tenth of the tenth month in the tenth year of the century.  Ha.

That’s kinda funny.

I’ve been inactive for three weeks now. Why? Yeah, party because I had an internship, as a part of my education, in a sports store. And when I came home I usually felt like a Kaicho no maid-sama character. (If you seen it you know what I mean.) Anyway, now that’s over but from tomorrow and another three week over I will be at a flower shop instead.

Now, down to business. I’ve seen several of the new seasons anime this week so here is my (apparently yearly) new animes review.

Let’s start with “Bakuman”

The story is about two middle school student who decides to write a manga. While Takagi (glasses) will write the stories Mashiro (blue)  is drawing it.

At first when Takagi asks Mashio to draw his manga he declines. Since he lost his former interest to become a manga-ka when his manga-ka uncle died.

Later Takagi drags Mashiro over to the house where a girl who Mashiro likes live and Mashiro finds out that she wants to become a voice actress and when she gets exited over that they’re going to do an manga. Mashiro decided to do it and asks her to be the heroine in the anime.  And then, mashiro askes the girl to marry him when they  get an anime. Whith she accept, on the condition that they will not see each other until there dreams come true.

I don’t really remember when I first heard of this manga, I guess 1 ½ year ago or so. Maybe longer. But I started to read it when the anime was announced. Don’t remember when that was. Around Mars. Anyway, the ones who make Bakuman is the authors of Death note. And Bakuman is it’s opposite. . . I think I prefer Death note. But Bakuman had it’s moments as well. But now I think that it’s going kinda slow. I really liked the beginning. As the series progressed a gang of characters come up. But they haven’t really been seen much lately. Instead Mashiro and Takagis new assistances are getting more screen time. I dislike both of them.

Anyway, in the manga the time passes on and right now they are in college. Or rather, the collage age since they don’t go there so often.

Oke, that felt like to much, haha, it aint going to be that much on the other.

Next up, Ika musume.

This lighthearted comedy is about a squid girl (Ika musume) who had enough of the humans and their ill treatment of the nature and the sea. She decides to head up on land to conquer the planet and make all the humans into her slaves.

But she encounters trouble right away when trying to take over a sea side cafe. The cafe runs by a pair of sisters (there is also a little brother present). When Ika musume shows of her powers she destroys a wall in the cafe and is now to work there to pay of her deabt.

At first when I read about I had no interest in this, but ended up watching the first episode anyway. I actually think that it’s kinda funny, I might or might not watch the whole thing but at least one more episode.

To aru majutsu no index II.

This is the second season of  A certain magical index” and revolves around Touma a high school student that lives in the fiction city Academy city. The city got it’s name from the fact that over 90%(?) of the persons living there is students. Another thing unique in Academy city is that most of the younger people there is espers and have a certain power which is ranked from 1 to 5. But Touma is a so called level zero and do not posses any physic powers. But his right hand can cancel any powers, both physic and magical. One day he meets Index, a nun from england and after that he is dragged into problem after problem.

I really like this show, don’t remember much from the first season but I liked it. Action, comedy, cool characters and un-real powers. Wawom. That’s my style.  You could jump right into this season is you want to but there is no point. Watch the first season first. But you can skip raingun. To much un plot episodes and silly things for my taste anyway.

My little sister cant be this cute.

This anime is about a guy who dreams about his sister being nice to him. Since there is no way that could happened in reality. She sees him as trash and rarely talks to him.  But one day he finds out that she is a otaku. Loves shojou anime and eroge games.  Happy that his sister confines in him he decides to help her keep her secret from there parents.

Well, that’s the plot. At first I thought that this wound be a incest anime and had no interest whatsoever in it.  But since I like otaku based series I watched the first episode anyway. And I’m so following this. The comedy is great but not to much.  And since it isn’t’ categorized as incest I think that it will be safe.

Otome Youkai Zakuro.

This one is about three soldiers who is live with demons/spirits/whatever they are called to find out how to coexist or something like that.

They are placed together with four half demon girls who one is the title character, Zakuro.  One of the male soilders, the lead one of those, is Amegaki. A very professional solider that has a good way this women.  But he has one fear. Demons.

I think that this one shows a lot of promise. The characters is likable and I have no ide where this will lead. But seems fun. Will follow.

Star driver

This is a meacha anime, with um unusual robots. But it kinda looks cool.

Takuto comes to the island where this missing father was last seen to look for him but encounters trouble when he runs into some guys that had kidnapped Wako a young girl who had saved his life earlier, who also is one of the island maidens that protects the island. He saves wako by wakening his meacha and transforming into… The galactical pretty boy… Yes.

This show has so far been of weird that it is good.  I’m going to fallow this until the end. Seems like it can become awesome. And if not I will still get a good laugh. HA!

The world only god knows.

Picked this manga up without reading bout it first just because the title is so awesome.  Havn’t read it for awhile but that does not mean that I did note like it. But it was not as I expected.

Keima is a ladies man, he has gotten hundred of girls to fall for him and he even earned himself the nickname “god”. For Kaima nothing is impossible, that is, in dating games. He has no interest in real girls and just stay away from them.

One day he gets a e-mail with a request for a very hard “mission”, Keima who does not look at his “power” loosely accept the request and from the girl a devil from hell arrives.

When she explains for him the he much make real girls fall in love in him so that the escaped demons that taken place in girls hearts will be forced out it seems impossible for Keima. But since he has to complete the request or he will loose his head he uses his gaming ability to make the girls love him.

This series is awesome. But I’m not sure is I should wait until the anime is done until I pick up the manga again or do it right away. *sigh* dilemmas.

Detektive something yakumo.

About a collage guy who is able to see ghost.  Together with a girl he saved in the first ep he goes around and fix mysteries. Or something like that.

I liked the first episode. Will watch more, probably the whole series.

And at last “Yasugu no sora.”

A pair of twins moves bake to a village where there grandparents lived after there parents died.

When reading about this one I thought that it sounded nice.

Then I watched it, Incest, yuri, stupid ecchi, harem and stupid girl greated me. o_o. *sigh* I had expected a deep story about two siblings after the loss of there parents. + that I thought that they where to live with the grandparens…

Not watching.

It got a little short here and there but it’s late and I got tired. Might fill out a little on some.  But this is it for now.  See you later

I fell over the trailer for the new Season of “Toaru Majutsu no Index”, ” A certain magical Index”.  So I thought I might share it. Not that it is so new but still.

My first impression of this trailer was that it seemed more like a movie then a 24 episode series. But with a butt load of characters, hard to squeeze in that many characters that will actually do something in the movie. More than cameos.

Honestly, I don’t know what this season will be about. But I guess that it have something to do with Index and that church.  Since several nun likes appear.

I wonder if the railgun characters will have talking roles in this. With that I mean Satan and Ruriko, they are in the trailer but they only have cameos in the first series.  Misaka was in it for an arc or so and Kuroko appered from time to time and well.

The weird thing is that after watching Index I wanted to see more of Misaka but after Railgun I’m sick of her.  She is a character that you don’t need so much of. Just like gel.  Now I want to see more of Touma.

But my favorite is this guy, Motoharu Tsuchimikado. You know, it’s hard to find any good picture but this will do.  It’s from the second op if I remember correctly.

This will a bit of a spoiler so if you haven’t finished Index (first season since the second is yet out) you might not want to read this, if you happened to care.

I’m not sure that I’m correct regarding this matter, it was a while since I watched Index, but anyway. He was a member of a organization and seemed to know Index friends. But I’m sure it wasn’t the same. Since he is Japanese and there group is English.  But he gave up is magic power of something to be a spy in academy city by undergoing the esper treatment, or something like that.  But he has no esper powers and is a level 0. But he can still use magic, but it’s painful. And he has healing ability’s. Which saved him when using magic.

I also read that he was in love with his sister. And I sighed. When I read that she was is step sister, and everything felt better. But still, she’s so young. I think. . .

I’ve come to realized that I remember very little of the first season of Index. I want to re watch it but I see now that was a year ago that I watched it. Started on October 17 but I finished in the seventh December! That took some time. But a year ago I watched several series at the same time.

I’ve yet to re watch a series, I think. Not the whole anyway. Not every episode,  I sure of that.

That was a weird ending but I’ve out of time.  See you later.

These past days I’ve been catching up with “Occult Academy”, a anime with 11 episodes out and two to go.  It’s about this girl, Maya who returns to her hometown and her fathers school after he dies. She meets a guy, Uchida, from the future that is on a mission to fin “Nostradamus key”,  which will prevent to world from dieing. Or something like that. And shehelps him look for it.

At first I only saw two episodes and I thought that it look kinda good, I did like the last “anime no chikara” project,  but it took some time to watch it again.

Anyway,  the last 3 eps or so have been really good. It was a two episode arc about a little ghost girl who froze to death on Christmas., that was sad.

And now at episode 11 I just want more! One that  I thought was evil turned out to be good. And a white witch! That was awesome. I’m eager to see how badass she’ll hopefully be in the next episode.

And someone, who I did already know about but still, was the bad guy.

One thing about this episode was a little, unexpected and not so welcome for me. I wounder if they changed the director or something cause it was full with bouncing chests and a intense kiss.

But overall, it was a cool episode.

And now. It seems like it wont be time to “look” for the key so it must be there somewhere. My guess is that it is Uchida, since the weird stuff happened when he arrived. Cause he was sent back the past was ruptured, or something like that.  Another teori is that is was the past Uchida, or the present, the 1999 one. Since he had physique powers and 1012 Uhida had lost them. But that would make no sense since he would be aware or something like that right?

In the series they suspect that Maya is the key because stuff happened when she arrived at the school, around the same time as Uchida.

Well, that it for now. Next week I’ll start my internship so that means no school for me. Which means no homeworks, which means more time to watch anime. yay!

Today I will be saying a few words about the manga “The Lucifer and biscuit hammer who ended a couple weeks ago or so.

The story’s lead character is Amamiya Yuuhi, the guy with glasses,  and one day when he wakes up a lizard is sitting on his bed and tells him that he is the lizard knight and that he must save the world.  That his missions is to find the other knights and the princess and to defeat the person that want to destroy earth.

But Yuuhi is not interested in that.

But later on he bumps into the princess and she shows him what will destroy the earth, the biscuit hammer, only visible in the sky for those who knows it’s there. Then she asks him to help her since she wont let the hammer destroy the earth because that’s something she wants to do by herself.  And so Yuuhi agrees to become her knight.

And as the story goes on the two of them finds other knights and fight the golems, the evil guys monsters. Who, I by the way don’t remember what good they are…

Anyway, I think that this series was really good. I started to read it about three month ago so I only had to wait for a couple of chapters. Ha.  So I did not have that much time to have it sink in, if you know what I mean.

The last chapter was “ten years later”, I hope that that don’t counts as spoiler, and it’s not that good, I think. Everyone gets paired up,. I don’t deny that I’m a fan of that, but still.

Something in this manga that was both great and sad was that people died. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t enjoy good peoples death.  But when s character dies it feels more real, more unexpected, like I don’t know what will happened.

My favorite died. Why am I not surprised.  And another one that died, I already knew of, was partly that persons death scene that made me want to read this. All of the death was very touching and nothing that should be feared.  Btw, I predicted my favorites death chapters before it happened, so obvious.

Something else that this manga serves is a time paradox. A little confusing… But I can live with that since I have my parallel words theory.  That if you go back and changes something and then go back you’ll end up in a word where that did/ did not happened while the other word will still be there, somewhere.  Sliders must have something to do, ya know.

Well, I’ll be going now I think I’ll write a little about Macross frontier soon and I’ve already wrote half of a Sket dance post.

Teehe…..

I was going to write sometimes during the summer break but I just did not take my time. It’s not the easiest thing to remember when your in a “slump”.

I have lots of thing I wanted to write but noo, when I did have internet I prioritised other things.

You see, I moved in the middle to last of June and we did not have Internet in our new place.  We would have to wait to get it and then they forgot about us. Yes, forgot.

So I didn’t really have Internet that much. Not that that is an excuse. haha.

Tomorrow I will go to Stockholm and watch “DN-Galan”, a track and filed competition. And during the weekend I will watch DN-galan youth where my parents tranies are competing.

But I think that I will write next week as well. I want to write about Sket Dance and the Last of FMA.

And might about some of the new series, how I’ve get to get into. I’ve only watched a couple of episodes of a handful of series. But I think my favorite so far is “shiki”.  Well, well.
