28/1-11 “Nononono 90-91″

Hi.

Since chapter 90 of Nononono came out a week ago or so I’ve been looking everyday at the scanlation website. It was just so! EH!!!

I actually considered att He would die and Nono would be very sad (wrong choice of words) because she had been so angry with him.  But then he was shown in the hospital, but I bet that she will be sad anyway. And forgive him.

I only quick read it since I’m in school  but it still got to me. . . 

And that blood on the wall, huh.

I don’t know why but I like characters that get hurt. That sounded wrong… But I dislike death, sometimes it’s good for the story but I feel so sad over it. Like Gurren Lagann and Fruits basket. Oh, fruits basket…

Anyway, back to Nononono.  It ended in another cliffhanger, I don’t think that she will get exposed, that would be no fun. And will Kishi kill him, now that he told them? But it might be hard to do that when he’s locked in for (his) attempted murder.

I was surprised when Kishitani started to become more like that bad guy some time ago, because that’s not his style. But was reviled when he later regretted even thinking about it. 

Anyway I want the next chapter sooon.

Kishitani is my favorite character so I’m glad he didn’t die. I actually suspected that he would come and save her, and he sure did. For a moment I was worried that Amatsu would be the one after they went out and looked for her.

But since he (was) the nice guy with not so much talent I thought that he was nice and deserved good, I liked that he finally won a completion a while ago.  :)

Anyway, that was lot’s of blabber but I just felt like it.

Coming next, “Air Gear.”

12/9-10 “THe lucifer and biscuit hammer”

Hi.

Today I will be saying a few words about the manga “The Lucifer and biscuit hammer who ended a couple weeks ago or so.

The story’s lead character is Amamiya Yuuhi, the guy with glasses,  and one day when he wakes up a lizard is sitting on his bed and tells him that he is the lizard knight and that he must save the world.  That his missions is to find the other knights and the princess and to defeat the person that want to destroy earth.

But Yuuhi is not interested in that.

But later on he bumps into the princess and she shows him what will destroy the earth, the biscuit hammer, only visible in the sky for those who knows it’s there. Then she asks him to help her since she wont let the hammer destroy the earth because that’s something she wants to do by herself.  And so Yuuhi agrees to become her knight.

And as the story goes on the two of them finds other knights and fight the golems, the evil guys monsters. Who, I by the way don’t remember what good they are…

Anyway, I think that this series was really good. I started to read it about three month ago so I only had to wait for a couple of chapters. Ha.  So I did not have that much time to have it sink in, if you know what I mean.

The last chapter was “ten years later”, I hope that that don’t counts as spoiler, and it’s not that good, I think. Everyone gets paired up,. I don’t deny that I’m a fan of that, but still.

Something in this manga that was both great and sad was that people died. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t enjoy good peoples death.  But when s character dies it feels more real, more unexpected, like I don’t know what will happened.

My favorite died. Why am I not surprised.  And another one that died, I already knew of, was partly that persons death scene that made me want to read this. All of the death was very touching and nothing that should be feared.  Btw, I predicted my favorites death chapters before it happened, so obvious.

Something else that this manga serves is a time paradox. A little confusing… But I can live with that since I have my parallel words theory.  That if you go back and changes something and then go back you’ll end up in a word where that did/ did not happened while the other word will still be there, somewhere.  Sliders must have something to do, ya know.

Well, I’ll be going now I think I’ll write a little about Macross frontier soon and I’ve already wrote half of a Sket dance post.

9/6-10 “Fullmetal disappointing”

Hi.

I’m so damn disappointed!!!!

I’ve just looked through the RAWs of the final chapter of Fullmetal Alchemist and I’m a little sad.

Since it’s only the RAW and I didn’t look so close at the pages I don’t feel as sad as I will feel when it’s all over… But the anime will go on for another month and after that I will be empty… *sigh*

BUT! The reason that I dissapoited is beacue Roy and Riza is barely there! Just in a few pages. A few pages of 113! And they are not together! As a Royai fan I can’t describe what I feel right now. :’( Damn it! It’s been 2-3 years since I found FMA and this is it! + the pages are to unsharp  so I can’t even try to read it. If there even is something hidden there.

Well that was what I wanted to get out. Now I will post a Royai fanart and be out of here. Tomorrow it’s graduation, then it’s summer vacation, I have no idea what I will be doing.

I will surely be back in a day or two for the final FMA chapter review. And yes, I WILL do it!

6/2-10 “Eureka Seven”

Hi.

I watched Eureka Seven(7) last week and it was awesome! After just one episode I wanted to watch more.  Watching it made me realize  that I like mecha. Before I just thought that I was okej wit it but now the ones that I’ve watched is on my top 10 list! I’m going to check Macross (frontier?) out later.

Renton, Talho, Holland, Eureka

So, what it is about? Here is a short summary.

This guy, Renton lives in a little city with his grand father adn he thinks that lives is just plainly boring. The only fun he has is when he’s reffing(?). It’s a mix of skateboarding, surfing and flying.  He is able to fly with his board thank to the “trappars”. I did not really get what this trappars are but it’s thing, invisible thing…  Anyway, one day this LFO(what mechas are called here) crachlands in his grandfathers workshop. It turns out to be the first LFO, thetype zero, and it’s pilot is a young girl who Renton Falls in love with.

Then he finds out that she’s a member of “the Gekko state” (Gekko=Moonlight) a rebellious grope that Renton idolize.

Some guys suddenly attacks and the girl, Eureka, goes off to fight.  Renton is worried about her since the LFO still isn’t completely fixed.

His grandfather gives Renton a thing, that Rentons father found/made and tells him to give it to the girl.

Renton goes to the place where the fight is  and is finally able to fly like he wanted to (on his board) and is able ro deliver the thing to the type zero and that thing reacts with the LFO and they blow the enemy away.

Later Renton is allowed to go with the Gekko state cause Eureka wanted him to, the Nirvarch(type zero) works better with him.

And so a adventure starts for Renton.

But it’s not as Renton imagine Gekko state to be.  They doesn’t have much money and the Leader and his idol, Holland, isn’t so sympathetic and walk around in his underwear.  Renton start to wonder what he is even doing there. But then it gets better.

Yeah, this is the first two episodes I guess. Don’t sound to exiting? Well it is.

It had several of my favorite genre, Drama, action, romance and apparently, mecha.

But is one thing I bother me a lot. It seemed like they started up to many thing that they did not finish (the makers of the series), the thing with Renton sister and father was done half good and the thing with some being in the military before. The military thing with Talho for example. It was not given enough time and just got confusing… Or it might have been me not paying enough attention…

Yesterday I read the manga. And I kinda liked it better then the anime. In some way.

It was shorter, only 23 chapter so it did not have as much in it. No Beams and Renton didn’t have as much trouble when he first joined Gekko state.It was no “filler” either every chapter had something to do with the plot. I think. . . Then I don’t remember much more special differences. But it is like a whole different story, but with the same character and the same story line.

It was not much of a character development with other then Eureka and Renton. You don’t actually get to see them so much. And Talho and Hollands relation don’t get much attention.

I liked this ending more actually. I don’t know why, it much more sad. I don’t really what to spoil if you haven’t read it but the thing with Eureka seemed better in some way. I kinda like that sort of ending. Everyone’s happy but somethings missing. You know. . .

And I don’t get why Anemome had a wheelchair, two years later. Didn’t she walk before?

I actually prefer manga Eureka and Renton. Eureka did not seem as cold and more normal and Renton seemed more mature. He also looked and acted older. His japanese voice made him sound young and naive. (The same voice as Hajime from Natsu no arashi.) I also like Domenic and Anemone better, thier past was better then the anime one. If they even had one in the anime.  Can’t remember. I might like that most charters better in the manga! Gah! I don’t know! It was so long since I watched it. One week. . . *Cough*

But I like the development in the anime so I can’t say I prefer one over the other. They where both good in there own way. Though I must say that the manga had a more sad ending but in the whole the anime was sadder.

Well, Now I’m off. We’ll see when I write again. Probely in a few days I’m on a roll.

14/12-09 “Fullmetal Alchemist ch 101 review 3″

Hi.

I was very busy yesterday so I didn’t have any time for the review, or anime.

I have begun to bee hooked up om “Cruel angels thesis” the opening for EVA.

I’ts just too awesome.

Anyway

After Roy says that he wont to the transmutation Mr Goldtooh asked if he is abandoning Riza, and says that that was cruel of him. Roy responds by saying that he’s not the one to talk, throwing away the lifes of the “fuhrer candidates”.

Mr Goldtooth responds to that by saying that they would be grateful to him, he took them in when their parents abandoned then, gave them a first class education and gave then a purpose in life.

Then Roy says “that why the rug is being pulled under your feet’s”.

And Mr Goldtooth is being pulled upward.

Nows the question. When Riza earlier in the chapter looked upwards, was that to show Roy that help was on the way? Or did Roy see that just then? Or was it a wild guess?

Will we ever know?

Now I have to stop, damn it! I was trying to get another picture here but it did not want to work. >:(

So I will continue tomorrow and hopefully finish 101. Sorry if anyone gets annoyed at me.   But I have two test on wendesday and a easey that have to be done by tomorrow so we will see how long it will be.

12/12-09 “Fullmetal Alchemist chapter 101 part 2″

Hi!

Now I’m back and will just continue with my 101 review! Yay!

Pang boom!

When the turn has come to Roy and the rest Riza is seen laying on the ground, floor or whatever. She is bleeding but she is not dead.  Roy is calling for her(?), yelling her name. Unfortunate for us Royai fans, he is yelling Lie tenant instead of Riza.

Riza, I can’t really explain how she looks. I guess that I can use one of my favorite words, shocked. But I also think that is is some fright mixed in. And a little confusuion.

“What the hell happened? Did he just slice my neck/throat?” Or something like that might go trough her mind. Or maybe… Damn it I forgot! I hate when that happens…

Put as a band aid on the wound Roy is totally pissed! Looking even more, if possibly, mad then when he was fighting Envy.

And all the fangirls to is squee because of the awesomeness. Thinking that he  totally (note to self, find new word…) cares for her more then a friend.

Like that wasn’t proved in earlier chapter.

While Roy is just yelling Riza gets dragged to a transmutation circle and Mr Gold-teeth tells Roy to do the transmutation, just like that. Right upside down, like we say in Sweden.

Gold-teeth asked who he wants to transmute.

Family, he is adopted so his parents is possibly very dead.

Friend, Maes of course who else?

Lover. 8| Does Roy has a dead lover or is Gold teeth just coming with suggestion without grounds? Yes, that must be it…

And when he mentions that Riza migth die Roy just looks to furious.

Am I the only one who liked that look on his face? Not that I want him to look like that. Oh damn,  Now it sounds liek he is a real person. Well, you get the point.

Then Riza says that she wont die, cause Roy has ordered her not to. She even manges to give Gold-teeth a strong look. Okej, that did not come out right. . .

I really hope that the new anime will go all the way. But, that means that the manga must end soon. But I really would love to see this scene in anime version. I just hope that they don’t mess it up. >:(

Goldteeth tells Riza(?) that with a immortal body she wont have to suffer.

“Your precious woman”  Huh. That just screams Royai! Can’t it just hurry up and  become official!

Now is the question what Goldteeth woud do? Make Riza to a homunculus? Aren’t they dead or in bodies already? Was he going to heal her? Then why?

Then he states that Riza has become quiet, and wonders if she died. The next panel shows Roy with his usual furious face, and you can tell that he’s feeling pretty useless.

But Riza isn’t dead, she responds with that no transmutation is necessary.

Roy is torn, he knows that transmutation is wrong and that it might, probably, wont even help her. But he can’t stand just watching the woman he loves die.

Riza sees Roy’s hesitation and looks him in the eyes. Telling him not to do it, not with words, with her eyes. Her expression.

But even though she “tells” him that transmutation is not a option and that he should not, under any circumstances, do it he  still torn.

You can really see the pain in his face.

Arakawa is to damn good!

I just have to start with Roy here. I really can’t explain his expression. It’s almost like it was when she first became hurt. Surprise, a feeling that he can’t do anything.

Riza expression is a little easier. I think that it’s like that she would never forgive him if he did it. Even thought it was for her sake.

And I guess that made Roy realize something.

Here he is especially torn.  He don’t want to watch her die! But he can’t do the transmutation.  It’s wrong, he knows it and so does she.  But he still wants to save her.  Poor Roy, everyone gets hurt and some dies.

But this dilemmas is something that makes FMA so damn great. Right?

Here he has a determinate expressed, but you can hint sadness in his eyes.

But he has decided not to do the transmutation. When if it’s on the cost of Rizas life. It would might not even be saved anyway.

Heh, shocked guy is shocked.

Well, wound you expect? He had treated Roy’s    weakest point, Riza. And he thought that that he would do anything to save her. Witch he kinda did. Riza wound not be happy if Roy died while saving her.

And by opening the gate he would not heal someone, just bring someone else there. Or would Gold-teeth help her if Roy transmuted? Then why did he drag her to the circle?

Well, that’s it for now, it’s late and I got load left. Don’t know when I will have time, it’s sunday! But I will finish my review even thought it means that I have to skip watching anime!

And I might, might have time to, at least, start on the 102 review. Yay!

10/12-09 Fullmetal Alchemist 202 hype and 201 review 1.

Oh my.

Fullmetal Alchemist chapter 103 came out today.

Oh shit, was my reaction for most of it. It was pretty damn awesome, Arakawa has done it again.

Just thinking about it makes me hyper.

But I can’t download it yet, so I decided to just start on my goddamn 102 review!

It started of with a color page featuring Bradley getting out of the water, sewer water.. That probably stings in his wounds. And then he has this really pissed look.  If you did not know better you might think that he thought “when I find the bastard who pushed me into the water I’m going to kick his sorry as!”

Then it’s switched to the Armstrong’s and curtis. Sieg  is confued and is calling for Izumi.

Then They finds out that Buccaner (not Naccania) has died fighting Wrath/Bradley. Olivia is shocked, and when one weird dude (hostage?) says that it’s impossible that Bradley died she brutally punches him.

She is told that the main gate is still closed and that he passed away with a smile. Then it’s quiet for a second or two and she says what’s above here.

She also tells Sieg that they will look out for his wife.

BTW, at first I did not get that Sieg ans Izumi was married. I don’t remember what I thought that they where but not Husband

Well, that was short now but I will be back with more tomorrow, I promise. Yeah!

9/11-09 FMA chapter 101 link + update?

Hi.

Unfortunately, I don’t have the time to do the reviews today.  It’s already late and I have a test tomrorrow. *sigh*

Just wanted to say that I read chapter 101 of FMA today, scanlated and translated. That’s fast! I was not expecting the chapter out until tomorrow or the day after.  But that was a nice surprise. : )

I also saw episode 31 of Brotherhood and it haven’t been this great for a good while now. The animation was amazing, compared to what it usually is. I will post some pictures tomorrow.

And I will do a long nice review of chapter 101. One picture at a time.

8/11-09 “FMA ch 101 spoilers”

Hi.

This will be quite short due to the fact that I’m writing on my laptop.

Where I can’t see the whole writing screen, which is annoying. And it’s not the bast thing to write novels on.

You know, I’m so amazed that so many people voted on my poll, I was expecting around 10-20 votes, that why I said that I would have it up so long time. And now I got over a hundred on my first one and over 70 on my other. I will talk more about that after the chapter comes out.

You know! I got three comments this week, that really made my days. Thank you very much.  : )

And now the real reason I’m writing now.

I have seen some spoilers regarding chapter 101 of FMA, and they made me giggle like the mad fangirl I am.  So, just so you know, spoilers is going to be under here, beware. ~~~~

Riza is alive! Apparently May arrived and saved her. and on one of the (six) pictures Roy hugged Riza!  Probably right after May stopped her bleeding. And there is where I giggle like crazy. I have been smiling like an idiot the whole night! And I can’t wait for more scans, and the translated “real” chapter that I will expect in a couple of days.. : )

More than the Royai moment Bradley showed up, earlier then I expected actually. Roy was going to fight him but Bradley pinned him down to the floor(not that way) and stabbed his swords through Roy’s hands!

I don’t really know what more to say at the moment but here is one site who has the six teaser spoiler pages + translation.

22/10-09 “Kimi ni todoke, skip beat”

Hi.

Today I watched episode 3 of “Kimi ni todoke”, “reaching you”(from me to you). And I’m starting to get into the series.

Not so long into the series I started to notice Ryuu, and now I think that he’s my favorite. I think it was either when Chizuru was sitting outside the ramen shop or when “they” where eating there that I started to like him. At first he was just in the backgroudn and did not say much.

Now when I think about it, it was probably when he smiled, with his heart. He reminded me of another character that I also like.

The thing about Ryuu is the way he is, I have only read 20 chapters, could not find any more, but still. It’s something about him that makes him a good character.

Since the manga isn’t done (or is it?), the anime is not going to cover the whole one, but I do hope they make it 26 episodes instead of just 13, a half season. But I do think that it will be 26. Cause I have a theory, last year Skip beat was the Autumn shjoujo anime and it was 26 episodes. yeah, I know.

But back to Ryuu, I do hope that everything works out for him, it’s a shoujo so he will probably get the girl but the question is how.

She is head over heels in his brother! Was he going to confess to her just as the brother walked in?  Or was he going to say something else? And do the brother like her?

Yeah, so many questions, my guess is that the manga will focus on them a few chapters over.

Btw, I really liked that opening, I thought that it ended quick, and that was because it was only one minute.  :p

I also read chapter 148 of skip beat yesterday, I’m so exited! Skip beat can really remind me that I love shojou manga! Was Ren going to kiss her? Or rather, IS he going to kiss her!? Can’t wait!

I’m thinking of buying the manga, the first 10 volumes or something can be bought in swedish, but after that they wont resale any more! But I don’t know if I will buy swedish or english or both, it’s cheaper to buy it in swedish so I might do that.

BTW, I’m a fan of Ryuus hair cut. don’t know why. I guess that it’s that that remind me of the other one. Which I don’t know who. . .
